IX.14.2020 - Atikokan Native Friendship Centre
Whitesell & Company has been working with the Atikokan Native Friendship Centre (ANFC) to launch the first Youth Transition Home (YTH) in Northern Ontario. The YTH will provide a safe, affordable, and supportive home for 15-20 youth aged 17 to 29 for up to two years. The YTH is not a shelter. It is a home where the residents can heal, stabilize, and grow through a program that combines evidence-based, proven approaches for mental health, trauma, and addictions with traditional techniques, and customs.
